A very big thanks to all of you who contributed towards the amazing day I had with Barney.

As most of you know it was decided to take me on a track day with Barney.

The car we took is an Ariel Atom which accelerates 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 150 Mph.

Thankfully we never reached the 150 , the whole day was a thrilling experience and after some early laps with Barney he said "Go on then, on your own", not quite what I had expected, but a great amount of fun, Barney also did a number of laps with me in the car at around 1min 18 seconds, my attempts being around 1 min 42 seconds, some what slower but as Barney pointed out he is used to the car and is Stupid!!. I did also enjoy a couple of visits into the Gravel, sorry Barney.

I have only really just stopped smiling, it was such a great day and I am very grateful to you all , so thanks again.

Driving off after the previous 9 players Jeff Carlisle drove 200+ yards straight down
the centre of the 18th fairway and was the only name on the card for the Longest Drive.

That was until Rob Pearce came along in the last group and robbed him of the £10 prize.

It was with great sadness that we have to inform you that Ivor Lloyd
passed away in Hereford Hospital on Saturday 29th April 2023. 

Ivor had been in poor health for some time, but before then he had been a very active
member of the PIGS and Bransford Golf Club, and we all remember him with
affection and will miss his jovial banter.

We have truly lost one of the ‘Good Guys’.
